Job Summary

We are looking for talented and enthusiastic Trainee QA to expand our existing QA team and work on international ecommerce application.

You would be initially working under the guidance and supervision of the senior QA on different projects, progressing to taking responsibility of handling the projects independently.

Excellent opportunities for individual to learn, explore by designing and executing test cases, and reporting defects to the development team for existing and new features and contribute to testing solutions for functional, regression and performance testing.

Job Role

• Cross browser and cross platform functionality testing.
• Writing test cases based on business requirements.
• Execute test cases.
• Isolate defects and perform root cause analysis.
• Document defects and ensure verification of resolutions.
• Shopping cart, Checkout, Stock / Inventory testing.
• Backend modules functionality testing.
• Assist designers and developers in creation and execution of various tests.
• Identify new tools and methodologies to improve testing activity.

Required Skills

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline.
• 0-1 years of experience in software testing.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and programming languages (PHP, Javascript).
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Web development experience is a major plus.
• Knowledge of JMeter, Selenium or any other automated tools will be a plus.
• Ability to work, co-operate and communicate with an international team.
• Good Writing and Communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
