Job Summary

We are looking for a smart, talented, logical and analytical Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with strong Web sites and applications testing background. The candidate must have experience in manual testing, preferably web-based testing, and be able to write and test requirements, develop and execute manual test cases and record unexpected results.

As a QA Analyst, you will be performing various testing technics on our many international ecommerce projects, working with other QAs, developers and designers to smooth the development process and make the projects bug free as much as possible.

Job Role

• Cross browser and cross platform functionality testing
• Develop system test plans, prepare test scenarios, test cases and test scripts
• Isolate defects and perform root cause analysis
• Document defects and ensure verification of resolutions
• Perform page load testing
• Shopping cart, Checkout, Stock / Inventory testing
• Backend modules functionality testing
• Ensure data integrity on all the reporting functions
• 3rd party web services and tracking testing
• Assist designers and developers in creation and execution of various tests
• Troubleshoot issues by reviewing logs, code, and other system data
• Identify new tools and methodologies to improve testing activity

Required Skills

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
• 1-2 years of experience on testing ecommerce websites
• Hands-On knowledge of HTML CSS W3C XML
• Web development experience is a major plus
• Basic knowledge of SQL and programming languages (PHP, Javascript)
• Understanding of payment gateways and 3rd party integration
• Ability to pick up web application vulnerability
• Familiarity with Pagespeed, Yslow, Firebug etc
• Knowledge of JMeter, Selenium or any other automated tools
• Online Healthcare experience is a plus
• Manage & have worked independently on multiple projects simultaneously
